Starting Week 3 Jenny Craig

I am feeling really good! I have weighed in twice now since starting Jenny Craig and I am so happy to report to all 5 of you that I am down a total of 6.2 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!! This weeks weight loss was 2.4! I am so excited and so very happy at my dedication to this.
Many times before (as I'm sure you've all experienced at one time or another) I have started a diet only to make it about 2 - 3 days before falling off and eating everything in sight. But this time something is different! I have (even when going out of town or out to lunch) stuck to my diet. I know that I am on a 1200 calorie a day diet. And therefore when going out I make sure that I ask for the menu item that will give me about 300 calories for that meal. And believe it or not....it's possible!

Just in case you were wondering at Mc Donalds you can have the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad with Newman's Light Balsamic Dressing for a grand total of 300 calories! That's pretty good. Add a bottle of water and you can enjoy a fun lunch with your kids at Mc Donalds. And that is just what we did on Saturday.
Exercise is another story. All last week I walked my butt off (quite literally it seems) but it has been raining since Saturday and today is more of the same. I am hoping that it subsides by this evening so I can do my little walk!
